This remote role allows for flexibility while providing essential mental health services in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, psychological needs, and potential barriers to treatment.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building for each individual, aligning therapeutic techniques with patient goals.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions designed for shared healing experiences where patients can process trauma collectively.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and support staff, to provide integrated and efficient patient care.

• Respond promptly to patients in crisis, offering crisis intervention techniques and compassionate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and utilize external resources to promote holistic healing.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards, ensuring all patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, which may present in various forms, including PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge and clinical experience with trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to form trusting therapeutic relationships and maintain a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset that thrives in a team-based setting while also possessing the capability to independently manage cases.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-informed care, particularly within outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

MedSphere Counseling Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
