Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's history and to identify individualized treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans focusing on recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe environment where patients can process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support, guiding patients through trauma-related emergencies with composure and professionalism.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping methods, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily serve a diverse population of trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing symptoms related to PTSD, complex childhood trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

We invite applications from qualified candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster emotional healing.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
