Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment pathways.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing process.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, applying best practices to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention support during acute trauma situations, offering timely guidance and strategies for management.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
