Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ trauma histories and identifying suitable treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and building resilience that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and accelerate their healing journey.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm under pressure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for further support.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives, all centered around trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our team primarily supports individuals dealing with the impacts of trauma, particularly those suffering from complex PTSD and related dissociative disorders. We are dedicated to creating a healing space that respects each patient’s unique experiences and promotes collaborative recovery efforts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health care preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and respond effectively to diverse patient needs.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation tools.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
