Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, enabling you to thoroughly understand each client's trauma history and tailor treatment strategies accordingly.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring a personalized approach to each patient's journey.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Support patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies through structured therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring coordinated and integrated care for your patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, potential therapies, and community resources available to assist in their recovery journey.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical requirements, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring the highest standard of care for your patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing severe emotional and psychological challenges arising from trauma. Your clients may have varying backgrounds and circumstances, necessitating a flexible and empathetic approach. You will engage with both adults and adolescents who seek counseling for PTSD, dissociation, and related disorders, making your impact on their healing path significant.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health treatment setting, preferably working with trauma-affected populations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
