This position offers the unique benefit of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. Through our telehealth platform, you'll engage with patients via secure online video sessions, ensuring confidentiality and convenience. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Trauma-Focused Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate individuals’ trauma histories, emotional status, and needs to establish effective treatment pathways.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and supporting recovery from trauma.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients process and articulate their trauma experiences while cultivating healthy coping mechanisms.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and ensure a seamless treatment experience.

• Responding effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus centers primarily on individuals coping with trauma, including but not limited to those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong assessment skills with a solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and a passion for empowering clients through their recovery journeys.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
