Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate clients' healing processes.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their traumatic experiences, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering emotional recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with have experienced various forms of trauma, leading to challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. Many of our clients have complex trauma backgrounds that necessitate a patient-centered, empathetic, and informed approach to treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, particularly trauma-informed care practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and essential computer applications to manage patient information effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
