Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed evaluations to assess clients' trauma histories and recommend appropriate treatment options.

• Developing tailored therapy plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and establishing coping strategies.

• Delivering evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences and fostering supportive peer interaction.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic, integrated treatment for clients.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating clients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure optimal client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents impacted by various forms of trauma. You will engage with clients seeking therapy for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues stemming from traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid and current state license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD) to practice as a mental health professional.

• An understanding of trauma-related conditions and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with relevant internships or therapeutic training will also be considered. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary team are favorable assets.

Compensation and Benefits\n
