Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements while ensuring that our clinicians can provide optimal care. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required in response to patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health histories and develop personalized therapeutic plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on recovery from trauma and enhancement of resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing past traumas and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Administer crisis intervention services promptly during emergency situations related to trauma.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and empower them with resources and skills for sustainable healing.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay informed on trauma care advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will center on supporting a diverse client base, particularly those impacted by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our primary focus is on serving individuals who may have experienced a wide range of traumatic events, creating a supportive framework in which they can express their emotions and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and non-judgmental engagement with clients.

• Capacity to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software is essential.
