Work Environment\n

This position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely, allowing for a flexible yet structured work schedule. Our team operates under a collaborative model, utilizing virtual platforms to connect with colleagues. You will primarily engage with patients via teletherapy, ensuring accessibility and continued support while maintaining a professional rapport. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adapt based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient’s trauma history and present mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring individual needs are met throughout the therapeutic journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address various trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.

• Maintain a readiness to provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available to them, promoting empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Contribute to case consultations and participate in team meetings dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research findings and effective methodologies in trauma therapy, striving for continual professional development and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse individuals of various ages and backgrounds who have experienced trauma in different forms. Our clinic’s patient population includes adults and adolescents dealing with PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression linked to traumatic experiences. The emphasis is on creating tailored therapeutic approaches that honor each patient’s unique story and recovery path.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is required for practice.

• While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to trauma-informed care.

• A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building practices is critical to your success in this role.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications will facilitate effective documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
