Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed evaluations to gain a thorough understanding of each individual's trauma history.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma healing and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing their experiences.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering coping skills and recovery pathways.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and various healthcare providers to ensure clients receive integrated and holistic care.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families to promote understanding of trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available healing resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute to team meetings that promote team cohesion and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have suffered from various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to empathetically understand their unique experiences will be vital in building trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist is essential.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed care approaches.

• Demonstrated experience providing trauma-focused therapies is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in your communication with clients.

• The ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital tools and applications used in clinical practice.

• Collaboration skills that facilitate effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is encouraged, candidates with a genuine passion for trauma therapy and an eagerness to enrich their skill set will be particularly valued. Prior experience working within the LGBTQ+ community or with trauma survivors is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
