This role is integral to the delivery of specialized mental health care, particularly for individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges. As a member of our team, you will work remotely from the comfort of your home while being part of our nurturing outpatient office located in Vancouver, Washington.

Work Environment\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist position is designed to be fully remote, allowing flexibility and convenience in your work-life balance. While you will operate primarily from your home, the position also requires collaboration with a diverse team of professionals within our outpatient office setting to promote holistic patient care. Your work schedule will typically consist of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some required flexibility to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group sessions.

• Guide patients in processing trauma and developing coping mechanisms through consistent therapy session engagements.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and emotional needs.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, offering stabilization and resources as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available community resources to aid in ongoing recovery.

• Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele you will serve primarily consists of individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma histories, and various dissociative disorders. Our approach is centered around understanding the unique experiences of each patient, providing sensitive and informed care that empowers them on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong grounding in trauma-informed care principles, with an understanding of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building techniques.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
