Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories effectively, guiding your treatment planning.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, incorporating both therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma responses.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, equipping patients with effective coping strategies, and promoting overall mental well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and competence in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma dynamics, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing severe forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD and complex trauma. Your expertise will aid clients in navigating their mental health challenges, fostering healing, and building resilience in a safe and compassionate setting. Collaborating with a varied patient demographic, you will gain insights into multiple trauma responses and treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience post-licensure with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Sound knowledge and practical application of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
