Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories, enabling you to develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing achievable recovery milestones and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process trauma, equip them with coping strategies, and cultivate a supportive environment for healing.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care, exchanging insights and strategies that enhance patient outcomes.

• Respond to crisis situations related to trauma, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, personal coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with state and federal guidelines, ensuring ethical standards are upheld.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, contributing to case consultations and team meetings that focus on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and adjust therapeutic practices accordingly to align with the latest research findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our clients range from adults managing severe PTSD to individuals with complex trauma backgrounds. Your expertise will be critical in helping these clients navigate their healing processes and develop the skills necessary for resilience in everyday life.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Professional Skills: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to treatment.

• Technology: Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
