Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma history and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure well-rounded care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, effectively managing high-stress scenarios.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses and coping strategy development; empower them with resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing the effects of trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma, in an outpatient capacity. Our patient population often comes from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and challenges to their mental health journey. As a therapist at Recovery Mind Counseling Center, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients navigate their recovery, fostering resilience, and promoting emotional well-being in a trauma-sensitive manner.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, psychologist, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong background in trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
