Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gain a holistic understanding of each patient's trauma history and mental health needs.

• Develop detailed, individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients explore their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and members of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and understood.

• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma and offer resources and tools for ongoing support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development activities, focusing on the latest advancements in trauma-informed approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of each individual. Your ability to connect and build trust with clients will be essential in facilitating their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Solid knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to foster an environment of support and empathy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
