Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining an engaging and interactive telehealth practice. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on client needs. You will work with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest standard of mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed patient histories and recommend appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, empowering clients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care that meets the complex needs of patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Remain informed on current research and best practices in trauma therapy, applying evidence-based knowledge to clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. This position requires a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a strong commitment to fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients, ultimately aiding in their recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with an emphasis on compassion and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and the ability to utilize computer applications for documentation and communication purposes.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting providing trauma-focused therapy is preferred.

• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally competent counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000 and $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
