Work Environment\n

As a remote counselor, you will have the flexibility to work from your chosen location while remaining a vital part of our clinic’s operational framework. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs. We provide a collaborative online platform that facilitates team meetings, case consultations, and continuous dialogue among staff members, enhancing the delivery of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs of patients, leading to the creation of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups designed to address common mental health concerns while fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a unified approach towards patient care and treatment options.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in acute distress.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources that may enhance their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT within the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
