Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and maintaining professional ethics to establish positive therapeutic relationships.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, address concerns, and plan for upcoming appointments or discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific circumstances and goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all clients, including progress notes and treatment modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and suitability for therapy services.
\n
• Conduct individual therapy sessions, providing evidence-based interventions to promote mental health awareness and effective coping strategies.

• Engage in ongoing individual supervision, utilizing feedback to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will also extend to assisting those with substance abuse issues, providing holistic support that respects each client's unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

• Ability to navigate the internal credentialing process and fulfill requirements in relevant clinical environments.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, as well as individual and group therapy methodologies.

• Strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to enhance the efficiency of client care.

• Applies knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
