Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing strong relationships, and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess progress, provide support, and plan discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes for all clients in compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n
• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and establish treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions each week based on the therapeutic requirements of your clients.

• Participating in individual supervision to enhance your clinical skills and obtain guidance from experienced professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on clients dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance abuse. This diverse client demographic means you will have the opportunity to employ various therapeutic techniques and interventions, tailoring your approach to meet each patient’s unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
\n
• The ability to meet our organization’s internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing both individual and group therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with experience in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. Additional familiarity with telehealth platforms will also be considered an advantage, as you will be utilizing these tools to deliver care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 – 110,000, which can be complemented by performance-based bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
