Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans, adapting them to meet specific needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster emotional growth.

• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor the progress of clients, adjusting treatment plans and approaches based on their evolving needs.

• Maintain compliant, accurate, and confidential documentation for all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and the ability to connect empathetically with individuals from different cultures and life experiences is essential in cultivating effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT, as applied to mood disorders.

• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively interface with psychiatric colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
