Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role requires a flexible approach to scheduling, with core working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the position allows for remote work, our commitment to collaborative care means you'll engage with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain effective communication and patient documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and craft individualized and effective treatment plans.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Engage in both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients explore their trauma, build coping strategies, and foster emotional resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and support are prioritized.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations focused on professional growth and trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Vitality Wellness, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced profound trauma, including survivors of abuse, combat veterans, and individuals navigating severe mental health crises. This patient population often requires therapists who can remain calm under pressure, show empathy, and engage in therapies that build long-term resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Florida as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring smooth documentation and communication.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
