Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Offering trauma-informed counseling to individuals, couples, and families to address a variety of mental health issues.
\n
• Integrating Christian counseling principles in therapy sessions for clients who opt for a faith-aligned approach to healing.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Providing counseling services to clients referred from local churches, ensuring accessibility to mental health resources in the community.
\n
• Actively participating in community outreach initiatives to build your caseload and establish new referral sources.
\n
• Collaborating with a network of professionals, including social workers and clinical counselors, to coordinate a comprehensive care strategy.
\n
• Maintaining detailed client records and promptly entering progress notes into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Regularly communicating with the center director regarding your schedule and availability for client appointments.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Soul Restore, our client focus encompasses a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds. You will work closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and substance use challenges, among other mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related mental health field.
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in trauma counseling.
\n
• Licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, or completion of licensing requirements within 200 hours of hire.
\n
• Strong understanding of the Bible along with the ability to use biblical counseling techniques where appropriate.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
\n
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines throughout the counseling process.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland.
\n
• Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or a willingness to complete EMDR training within three months of your start date.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
\n
• Experience working with a variety of populations and age demographics.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary range of $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide our team members with:
