Work Environment\n

This position is full-time, allowing flexible scheduling to accommodate both the therapist and client needs. Working remotely, you will interact with a multidisciplinary team ensuring consistent support and communication. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on promoting resilience and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and foster community support.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute trauma-related episodes, ensuring immediate and empathetic support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in their treatment process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

• Stay updated with current research and innovations in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your empathetic approach and specialized knowledge will enable each patient to confront their challenges, enabling them to reclaim control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Maryland.
\n
• A strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, providing a consistent source of support for patients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology to facilitate patient documentation and care.

• Capability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health settings is preferred, candidates should demonstrate a solid background in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Experience with treatment of trauma-related disorders will be taken into account for applicants without the specified experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
