Work Environment\n

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote setting while being part of a supportive outpatient facility. While our therapists primarily provide care from their locations, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures that you stay connected with your colleagues and benefit from ongoing professional interactions. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be needed based on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess patients' symptoms and needs, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, ensuring that each patient receives methodical and effective care.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational groups aimed at informing patients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available treatments.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive and cohesive patient care.

• Manage crisis interventions, providing immediate support and strategies during critical mental health scenarios.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available support resources, promoting informed decision-making regarding treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment protocols, and therapeutic approaches with a solid foundation of evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy sessions, showcasing adaptability with diverse client populations.

• Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining healthy boundaries in client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of the critical role you will play in our organization, we offer a competitive salary between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
