Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather vital information about clients’ trauma histories and specific needs, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, which may include methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care and ensure continuity of support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services promptly during trauma-related emergencies, assisting clients in high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Client Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with trauma survivors, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of unique challenges, necessitating a tailored therapeutic approach that acknowledges their individual experiences and fosters growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in related fields (Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology) from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and crises.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient computer skills are needed to document cases effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
