Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, using proven modalities tailored to each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate healing, coping strategy development, and trauma processing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that center on trauma-informed care initiatives.

• Stay current with research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals who have experienced significant trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, accidents, combat, and other forms of psychological distress. The role emphasizes understanding each client's unique story and developing strategies for coping, healing, and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure in California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and resilient in high-stress scenarios.

• A collaborative mindset, with respect for the contributions of colleagues in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
