Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health assessments to establish a comprehensive understanding of clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health.

• Document case progress meticulously from the first consultation through discharge, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Design and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans for diverse demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and community groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to foster emotional growth and resilience.

• Monitor client progress with ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in proactive follow-up practices with hospitalized clients to ensure a seamless transition from inpatient to outpatient care.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges.

Your practice will involve working with a wide array of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to track client progress and maintain confidentiality.

• A solid understanding of mental health treatment modalities, as well as the implications of concurrent physical health conditions and addiction disorders on mental well-being.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, with a demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and interventions.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Extensive knowledge of the pharmacological effects of medications prescribed to clients by healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
