Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, documenting each client's journey throughout their treatment.
\n
• Creating individualized treatment and recovery plans based on clients' specific mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing techniques grounded in evidence-based practices.
\n
• Regularly assessing client progress to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans and making adjustments as necessary.
\n
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social workers—to ensure an integrated approach to treatment.

• Providing continuous support and education to families and caregivers who are assisting clients with mental health challenges.
\n
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds and age groups, requiring a flexible and adaptable approach to therapy. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them on their journey to improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is a must.
\n
• Successful completion and passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) are necessary.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health principles as well as relevant experience providing therapy.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline client documentation and treatment tracking.

• Working knowledge of co-occurring mental and physical health issues as well as substance use disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients and their families.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and understanding demeanor when working with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, which reflects your experience and qualifications. Additional incentives may include a sign-on bonus upon joining our team. Our benefits package includes:
