Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma history, aiding in the identification of suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience development, and evidence-based interventions such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote enduring healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and guide patients through distressing situations.

• Educate patients and their families about common trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a comprehensive record of patient progress.

• Engage in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and continuous professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering events. You will have the privilege of working with diverse populations, guiding them through their recovery process in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a history of performing trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates who have demonstrated a dedication to trauma-focused therapy in previous roles or internships are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits\n
