Allure Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This full-time remote position invites a keen professional to provide specialized mental health care for individuals navigating the complex terrain of trauma recovery. This position allows for flexibility as it is primarily remote, while also requiring interaction in our outpatient office in Santa Ana. The regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the unique needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, enabling the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing best practices in trauma recovery to foster resilience and healing.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting overall well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive, integrative care for each patient.

• Be prepared to offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and appropriate response.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, equipping them with coping mechanisms and resources available beyond therapy.
\n
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, bringing your insights and expertise to enhance collective practices focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay well-informed on the latest research and developments in trauma therapy and mental health interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on diverse clients who have experienced significant trauma, which may include children, adolescents, and adults. You will work with individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders, tailoring your therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs. Each patient will require a distinctive approach based on their background, personal experiences, and specific challenges they face in their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma recovery.
\n
• A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing unwavering support to clients.
\n
• Proficiency in employing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to daily operations.

• A collaborative spirit, with a strong team-oriented mindset to work effectively with other professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapies, as well as specialized training in EMDR and TF-CBT, will be highly regarded. A background in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
