Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with patients across various locations. As part of a forward-thinking team, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule within our core operating hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for flexibility based on patient needs. You will utilize state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to document your sessions and maintain patient confidentiality, facilitating seamless communication with team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and establish suitable treatment interventions.

• Assemble and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients navigate their past experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and nurture resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and emerging best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering events. Many clients may present with PTSD or complex trauma, necessitating a sensitive and informed approach to therapy. Your role will be central to increasing their understanding of trauma responses and guiding them through transformative healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably focused on trauma-related disorders.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building practices is essential.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with a proven track record of success.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and perform effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working within a diverse clinical setting, coupled with a background in trauma therapy, will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will greatly enhance workflow efficiency within our practice. Candidates who have delivered group therapy and engaged with multidisciplinary teams will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
