Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and determine effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience building, and coping strategies.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.

• Offer crisis intervention as needed, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, enhancing their understanding and coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure seamless continuity of care.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to treatment.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and case consultations to stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma-informed therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include individuals of varying ages who have experienced trauma, ranging from childhood adverse experiences to adult trauma reflections. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Ability to remain calm and maintain composure during high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
