Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized clinical treatment programs for patients presenting with acute or chronic mental health disorders. This includes crafting tailored interventions and conducting regular follow-ups to assess progress.

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based practices for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Your role will involve addressing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship concerns.

• Engage in multidisciplinary case staff meetings to collaboratively plan and refine treatment approaches, ensuring that patient care is continuous and holistic.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries while adhering to state regulations and NCQA standards.

• Conduct thorough assessments in collaboration with psychiatrists and medical staff to determine the need for psychotropic medications and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows and Associate level therapists, empowering them through guidance and support, contingent upon relevant supervisory credentials.

• Facilitate family support sessions, equipping family members with the tools and knowledge they need to aid the treatment process and enhance patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and children, from various cultural backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While a relevant Master’s degree and California licensure are essential, experience in outpatient settings, crisis intervention, or teletherapy is highly valued.
