Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs, challenges, and aspirations of each client.

• Design and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in adherence to organizational policies, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Facilitate group therapy and support sessions when applicable, creating a safe space for shared experiences and community building.

• Engage actively in program development and quality improvement initiatives, contributing insights and feedback to enhance service delivery.

• Build and nurture trusting relationships with clients, ensuring that each session promotes engagement, comfort, and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our clientele ranges from young adults to seniors, providing you with the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approach across diverse age groups and backgrounds. We prioritize cultural competency and emphasize the importance of understanding each client's unique context and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field is required.

• Current and valid licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years’ experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in different therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathetic client engagement and relationship building.

• Demonstrated ability to customize treatment strategies to align with the unique needs and circumstances of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with trauma-informed care and an understanding of integrating holistic and complementary approaches to mental health treatment are highly desirable. Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral networks will further enhance your ability to support clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
