Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing therapists to provide care from the comfort of their own homes while occasionally collaborating in our outpatient office in Aurora. Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Person-centered Psychology Services, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ histories and craft suitable treatment strategies.

• Formulate and implement customized treatment plans that promote healing and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients navigate their recovery journeys.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

• Respond to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, therapeutic processes, and community resources available to support their recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team collaborations, and professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, reflecting a non-judgmental and supportive approach to care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications.
\n
• The ability to remain calm and effective for those in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
