Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations and document case histories from initial consultations through treatment completion.

• Formulate tailored intervention and recovery plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to address their mental health concerns.

• Monitor and assess patient progress in alignment with treatment goals, making adjustments as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical practitioners, to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning from hospitalization to outpatient services, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges, both in client sessions and through familial support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from varying backgrounds, ages, and presenting issues, particularly those experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. You will engage with a culturally diverse population, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approaches, while working to empower clients towards achieving their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.

• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient understanding of electronic health record systems, with specific experience using platforms such as AVATAR.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of various mental health conditions, substance abuse disorders, and strategies for effective intervention.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong capacity for building rapport with clients and families.

• Demonstrated empathy and interpersonal skills, reflecting a nurturing approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Understanding of pharmaceuticals commonly prescribed for mental health treatment, including their effects on client health and therapeutic processes.
