Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the history and intricacies of each client's trauma, using structured interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are specific to each client's needs, focusing on trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience-building.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a platform for clients to process their trauma and learn adaptive coping skills in a community environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided, facilitating coordinated treatment for all clients.

• Offer crisis intervention when needed, guiding clients through trauma-related emergencies with compassion and professionalism.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while empowering them with resource information.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, which may include but is not limited to, abuse, neglect, violence, or significant life events. Clients may also exhibit symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The role demands an understanding of the varied impacts of trauma on mental health and a commitment to fostering an environment that promotes recovery and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
