This role is full-time and offers the flexibility of a remote work setting within our community health clinic. Operating in a remote capacity allows our clinicians the flexibility to manage their schedules while still being integral to our supportive team environment. Our office welcomes both in-person visits and telehealth sessions, facilitating care for clients throughout the community. With excellent administrative support available—including credentialing services, intake scheduling, and efficient billing—our clinicians can prioritize their clinical practice and client relationships without being bogged down by administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of youth clients by establishing a strong rapport to build trusting therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, review case stability, and discuss upcoming appointments or potential discharge strategies as appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young client.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each client's journey.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments that consider the psychological, social, and emotional backgrounds of clients.
\n
• Engage in individual or group therapy sessions tailored to the holistic development of clients, drawing from evidence-based practices.
\n
• Participate in ongoing supervision to enhance personal and professional development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly involves working with youth and may include addressing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and substance use challenges. You will be instrumental in delivering tailored therapeutic interventions that drive positive client outcomes and foster resilience among young individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
\n
• Must meet internal credentialing requirements specific to clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is essential.
\n
• Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
\n
• Proficient in using computers, including basic keyboarding skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have solid experience in a clinical environment working with adolescents or young adults, particularly in areas relating to mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
