This full-time position focuses on providing essential mental health support and therapeutic services to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting as well as occasional collaboration in our outpatient office located in Arvada, Colorado. Our team prioritizes a supportive and flexible environment to accommodate the needs of both clients and staff. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to align with the scheduling needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history and psychological needs of patients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Utilize established therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing trauma, enhancing coping skills, and promoting overall healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms to enhance understanding and recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage regularly in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about current research and innovative practices in trauma therapy, continuously enhancing your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who are navigating the complex effects of trauma. You will work closely with adult clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health concerns. Our approach is both empathetic and client-centered, recognizing the unique experiences and resilience of each individual. By using trauma-informed methodologies, you will significantly contribute to their recovery journeys and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
\n
• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of direct experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic techniques aimed at addressing trauma and promoting resilience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
