Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments to evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting all findings in detail from initial consultations to treatment completion.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans that address the specific needs of individuals, families, and groups, ensuring each plan is evidence-based and measurable.
\n
• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage clients in their recovery process.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with them and their support systems.

• Work closely with other mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to develop and implement comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Manage referrals and follow up with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients requiring additional medical support.
\n
• Empower family members and caregivers with strategies to manage their loved ones’ mental health challenges, fostering understanding and collaboration in the treatment process.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health treatment and best practices in therapy, contributing to ongoing staff learning initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will range from children to adults dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in addressing the unique psychosocial needs of diverse populations, including underserved communities, ensuring equitable access to mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• A passing score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) management systems such as AVATAR.
\n
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with clients and their families.

• In-depth knowledge of the effects of prescribed medications and an understanding of addiction disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community mental health settings or other applicable environments.

• Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.
