Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate, individualized treatment approaches.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and the development of coping strategies for resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate emotional healing and processing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that foster connections among participants and promote an understanding of trauma-related experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Offer crisis intervention support in urgent situations, ensuring patient safety and emotional support during traumatic episodes.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, helpful coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, with a strong emphasis on helping those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering an atmosphere of trust, empathy, and hope while facilitating transformative healing experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.
