This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule to meet both client needs and your personal commitments. Although the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate client situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient histories and craft targeted treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that promote recovery and resilience in clients affected by trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing, develop coping skills, and encourage personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies involving trauma-related situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy sessions and assessments in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, weekly team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Continuously update knowledge of best practices and the latest research in trauma therapy to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. You will lend your expertise to a diverse client base, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma stemming from childhood abuse, and other related mental health issues. Your work will significantly aid in their journey toward healing, empowerment, and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Proven knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, trauma-related disorders, and successful treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of clients.

• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, responding to the needs of clients with empathy.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications to keep detailed client records.

• A team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
