Work Environment\n

This position embraces a telehealth model, enabling you to work remotely while maintaining a supportive and collaborative workplace culture. Our team operates using state-of-the-art digital tools to ensure seamless connectivity and communication, creating an effective team dynamic that transcends physical boundaries. While the standard work schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., flexibility may be needed occasionally to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a mental health counselor at our center, you will engage in diverse responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed assessments to gather comprehensive insights into patients' traumatic histories and determining suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each individual's needs.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma experiences, build coping skills, and foster a sense of community and support.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring all aspects of our patients’ wellbeing are addressed.

• Providing crisis intervention and de-escalation support, assisting patients in moments of trauma-related emergencies effectively and compassionately.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and the coping mechanisms available to them, promoting a deeper understanding of their healing journey.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay updated on trauma treatment best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By providing specialized care and understanding, you will play an integral role in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, ultimately leading them toward improved mental health and enhanced life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist.

• A solid understanding of trauma-specific disorders, trauma-informed practices, and resilience-focused techniques.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for genuine connections with clients and colleagues alike.

• The ability to maintain composure and provide unwavering support in high-stress situations.

• A familiarity with electronic health record systems and digital tools that facilitate effective documentation and therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is encouraged, we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, including those embarking on their careers. Experience providing trauma-focused therapy and interventions is highly valued, along with a commitment to ongoing education in trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your dedication and skills will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually. Our benefits package includes:
