Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health histories, including their trauma experiences.

• Devise and implement personalized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and enhance the resilience of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma-related disorders.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for our patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute trauma-related distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping strategies to facilitate understanding and healing.

• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical requirements using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic interventions and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals affected by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The commitment to understanding each client’s unique experiences allows our therapists to tailor interventions that resonate with the individual’s specific needs, fostering a stronger therapeutic alliance and promoting successful healing outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health settings is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
