Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in the mental health and recovery journey of clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews and maintaining detailed case documentation from initial assessments through treatment completion.

• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to form a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Developing tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and support groups that focus on their unique circumstances.

• Facilitating engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Continuously monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and social workers to enhance client care.

• Following up with care providers for clients recently admitted to hospitals to ensure continuity and coordination of care.

• Proactively identifying and mitigating behaviors that may hinder clients' recovery processes.

• Providing support and guidance to family members and key caregivers in managing mental health challenges of their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Qualifications\n

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven previous experience in a mental health counseling role.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• A strong understanding of physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices and ethical guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
\n
• Strong interpersonal abilities combined with a compassionate and empathetic nature.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will possess experience working with vulnerable populations and have exposure to integrated care settings. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and prior experience in telehealth counseling will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
