Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in processing their experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with effective coping strategies while fostering a sense of community and mutual support.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient, prioritizing their mental and emotional wellbeing.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention to address trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to bolster their recovery journey.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and enhance team collaboration around trauma-informed care initiatives.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with current research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse client base consisting mainly of trauma survivors. This includes adults and adolescents who seek help for a variety of trauma-related challenges. Your work will be instrumental in assisting them to process their experiences and move towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidenced-based trauma treatment modalities.
\n
• A compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, reflecting a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience with a focus on trauma and recovery is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
