Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to determine mental health needs and appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Providing individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Maintaining thorough documentation including billing records, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, all within specified timelines to ensure compliance and effective treatment delivery.

• Developing comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to promote stable functioning and support our clients through challenging times.

• Creating discharge plans that ensure continuity of care post-therapy, empowering clients to maintain their progress independently.

• Adhering to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of practice.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Participating in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies and share insights with fellow professionals.

• Completing required licensure renewals and obligatory training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve a diverse client population, ranging from children to older adults, all experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, ensuring that services are culturally sensitive and effective.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the State of Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

Emory Health & Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure. In addition to salary, we provide:
