Work Environment\n

As a member of our team, you will be working in a remote setting with access to our outpatient office resources. We promote a collaborative work culture and prioritize a supportive environment where mental health professionals can thrive. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address a wide range of mental health issues.
\n
• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that create a sense of community and aid in addressing common mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and ongoing support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Offer educational resources to clients about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and local support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance service delivery.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies to continually improve practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges. The role requires a compassionate understanding of various backgrounds and mental health issues, ensuring that you meet clients where they are in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proven knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical guidelines in therapy.
\n
• Ability to conduct insightful mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to a wide range of clients and adapting approaches as necessary.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration and rapport-building.
\n
• Strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and respect for professional boundaries.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on outpatient therapeutic services.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including marginalized or underrepresented communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
