Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to ascertain patients' needs, histories, and treatment goals.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient’s cultural, social, and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, actively using therapeutic techniques to enhance clients' resilience and coping skills.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.

• Engage in multidisciplinary case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to further enrich the care we provide.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and effective treatment strategies, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention strategies and the ability to navigate challenging patient situations effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and foster therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in essential computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
